Just checked into Lakeview and was warmly welcomed by an outstanding customer service representative, Kaylee. She was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure I felt secure with my vehicle and belongings—including providing a room with a perfect view of my truck. The security measures are excellent, as she even knew the vehicle and license plate I arrived with, which added an extra level of reassurance. Exceptional service like this is truly refreshing and not something we often experience in Canada. A++! The room is clean, comfortable, and an ideal place to unwind after a long 1,000 km drive. Highly recommend!
Very comfortable. Staff open and friendly . Continental breakfast great to get your day started . Close to everything. Pillows to big . Lol had to complain about something. Always enjoy my stay here when in town .
Lakeview Inns & Suites was a very welcome stop after 14+ hours on the road. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room, complete with a cozy fireplace and jacuzzi tub, was clean and comfortable. I forgot my Kindle in the room and the staff was quick to call me to make arrangements to send it back to Montana (it arrived today!). 10/10 stop on our drive to Alaska!
One of the best options for Ft Nelson. Rooms are comfy but getting a bit tired.
We highly recommend Lakeview Inn & Suites, Fort Nelson, BC. Our car developed a few issues while on our trip down the Alaska Highway. we were able to get it fixed at Dalex Auto Service, which is conveniently located just across the street. The staff at Lakeview Inn & Suites were very accommodating & professional. There is a great hot breakfast provided starting at 5:30am & beverage machine available 24/7 which is such a blessing! Especially when our car was in the shop. There is other restaurants & grocery stores within walking distance. We were so happy to find out there was an inhouse laundry. The rooms are clean & spacious. The cleaning staff checked on us every day & promptly supplied anything we needed. Much appreciated! We loved the paved walking trail away from the highway & into the trees! Thank you Lakeview Inn & Suites, Fort Nelson for making our stay a great experience! :)
Amazing hotel in the midst of nowhere. I am currently driving from Washington, passing Prince George, Fort Nelson, Watson Lake, and finally arriving at AK. This hotel is a gem in Fort Nelson! All the crews were very friendly! Service was amazing. Sad that many food places closed after 10 pm, not even a single place sells alcohol past 10 pm. Unfortunately, the motel did not have any bar or lounge that opened when I was there. Jacuzzi was a blast!! The room is very clean and very accomodating! They have a huge TV and cable to watch anything you want. I kind of wish I could smartconnect the TV to my phone, which I wasn't able to do. Some small things to note. I found a bug on the jacuzzi and another one on my cup that I had orange juice from the breakfast. I was surprised. I have left my sweet cup in many hotels before and never once saw any bug populating after. Other than that, everything else has been amazing. The style of the Hotel is very traditional and the corridor reminds me of The Shining. They have vending machine for drinks but only accept cash, which was a bummer since many people these days don't do any more cash. Overall experience, 4 out of 5 star stay!
Decent hotel. Get what you pay for. Id definitely recommend a suite. We had a king suite with jacuzzi and enjoyed it! Pretty clean other than the carpet.
